Christiaan Nagel (b. 1982, Durban) is a South African sculptor who works across a range of mediums from lightweight polyurethane to bronze. Nagel first rose to international prominence for his audacious and daring public artworks and latterly developed a studio practice working primarily in bronze. 

For over two decades Christiaan Nagel has sustained a consistent campaign to illicitly install vividly coloured sculptures atop buildings and other tall or seemingly inaccessible structures worldwide.
